The new doll in the dollhouse (5/03/2016)

My Lanie doll from eBay came in on May 3rd, and I decided to do a post about it. I didnt get any pictures from the actual opening, but these are the pictures I did take.....

So here she is after I fixed her curls, but I didn't take any before photos. (I forgot to)
She is so beautiful, she came in such good condition....
Here is her hair from the back:
And the side:
And here is a semi-profile:
Her head is a little loose, and her neck gaps a bit, but I'm pretty sure it's not due to age, and it might be something she came with when she was a brand new doll.
She came with these AG place pajamas, still on the hanger with the tag.....
She also came with the hat that originally came with her Gardening Outfit (with the blue tunic)
Here is a note from the seller, I thought this was really sweet...I was definitley satisfied with this purchase.
She also came with her first book, I haven't read it yet, but I can't wait to get around to it.
She came with this Our Generation Case, which held:
A mini camera with a neck-strap:
A mini IPod with removable earbuds. It's so adorable.
And to my surprise, a mini MacBook(this wasn't mentioned in the listing, so I was very surprised)
It has a sticker that says "American Girl" as the screen, but I dont know if this is some retired item I'm unfamiliar with, or if it's Our Generation (or something else) with a new screen sticker.

I'm very satisfied with my purchase, and I'm so glad that Lanie is here, finally. She was in very good condition, she has no shiny spots, her limbs aren't as tight as a new doll, but they are still in good shape. They are about like my Julie doll's limbs, so I'm used to it. Her hair just needed some finger-curling (spritzed with some water, curled with my fingers). She came with everything the listing mentioned and a couple surprises. She came in the mail in good time, and the package wasn't damaged.

Stay tuned for more pictures of the new doll in the dollhouse, her character bio, and the first story from Days in the Dolhouse...
